Stress And Enterprise - The Career Of Richard Izard - Paul Goldsmith

NZ$39.00

Richard Izard’s life is a story of entrepreneurial ambition, setbacks and remarkable comebacks. Raised in a prosperous family, he raced cars and flew planes before a series of business failures left him nearly broke. Returning to New Zealand in 1980, he built a successful export manufacturing company in Wellsford, selling tungsten-carbide-tipped saw blades internationally and securing a significant share of the American home handyman market. Despite financial pressures, difficult partnerships and periods of personal struggle, Izard’s determination, charm, hard work and instinct for opportunity helped him succeed. After selling the business in the early 1990s, he went on to become a significant New Zealand investor.
