Rose Of Spadgers - C J Dennis
NZ$24.00
C. J. Dennis’s Rose of Spadgers (1924) is a collection of poems illustrated in black and white by Hal Gye. A sequel to Ginger Mick, it follows the Sentimental Bloke as he looks after Ginger Mick’s widow, Rose, and tries to protect her from the scheming villain Spike Wegg. The collection continues Dennis’s humorous and character-driven portrayal of Australian life and working-class characters.
